Nearby Attractions

SoHo is one of New York’s most fashionable districts, full of designer boutiques and trendy restaurants. Prince Street and Broadway are particularly hot for shopping, and the hotel is just around the corner from the legendary Dominique Ansel Bakery, birthplace of the cronut.

A short walk to the north is Greenwich Village, with its friendly small town vibe and large student population. This is also where you’ll find the Stonewall Inn, the famous gay bar where America’s modern LGBT rights movement was born following the Stonewall riots of 1969.

Other nearby sights include the 9/11 Memorial, the enticing restaurants of Little Italy and Chinatown, and the hipster hangouts of East Village and the Lower East Side. The nearest subway station is Canal Street, a 5-minute walk away, and the lively gay nightlife of Hell’s Kitchen is just a few stops to the north.

SIXTY SoHo has 97 rooms and suites, decorated in an understated but luxurious style. All rooms have an LCD TV, free WiFi, mini bar and marble bathroom with indulgent amenities by REN.

The suites also have a private balcony with views of the Manhattan skyline, plus a bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub.

Sophisticated SoHo

SoHo takes its name from its location - South of Houston Street - and was the centre of New York’s contemporary art scene during the 1970s and ‘80s. The cobbled streets may have lost some of their bohemian charm as the artists have moved out and the fashion boutiques have moved in, but this remains one of Manhattan’s trendiest neighbourhoods. Spend your days engaged in a spot of retail therapy, then stay up late sampling the fantastic restaurants and buzzing bars that lure the cool kids from all over the city.
